Policy Integration Director – AARP

Position Summary:

The position provides strategic advice, counsel and recommendations to senior AARP leadership for updates and changes to AARP public policy in health and long term care. The successful applicant will maintain and grow expertise in health and aging to include extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private health insurance and long term care services and supports systems. They will also update AARP health and long-term care policies so that they are responsive to the current debate, address new and forward thinking areas of policy development, and support enterprise-wide strategy to help position AARP as the preeminent global leader in challenging outdated beliefs and sparking new solutions in health and long-term care, as well as lead the drafting of AARP’s policy statements in health and long term care for both internal and external audiences.
