The Office of Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy (D-FL), a member of the Ways and Means Committee, seeks a legislative assistant to handle tax, trade, and other domestic policy issues. Responsibilities include drafting and analyzing legislation, conducting research, writing policy memos, meeting with constituents, and staffing Ways and Means Committee hearings and markups. The ideal candidate would have at least two years of legislative experience, and a strong understanding of tax, trade, health and other policy issues.
