The Office of Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is seeking an experienced Legislative Assistant to join a talented team. The Legislative Assistant will support the Congresswoman with her work on the Financial Services Committee as well as a portfolio based on the policy strengths of the candidate. An ideal candidate will possess a knowledge of the workings of the House of Representatives. In addition, this position should seek to bring new ideas on how to use all aspects of policy to deliver achievements to our constituents. Applicants should be outstanding writers who are able to handle talking points, memos and leers. This is a position that requires the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, work well in a team setting, and to have a sense of humor.
