Director, Community Government Relations – GlaxoSmithKline

Position Summary:

The Director of Community Government Relations will work with other GSK Government Affairs Directors lobbying to ensure adequate funding for HIV treatment and open access to all HIV medicines in government contracted health plans. Responsibilities will include analyzing developing local, state and federal policies, and developing appropriate strategies to achieve results that support the company’s objectives. Monitor the external environment in the states to identify and understand important emerging policy trends and key stakeholders that will have an impact on policy, commercial and corporate goals. Advise and support other key internal positions on the establishment and maintenance of relationships with key organizations and leaders. Create, maintain, execute and evaluate state level strategic plans to achieve company goals.
