Chief Executive Officer:

Mr. John Robert Strangfeld, Jr., has been Chairman of Prudential Financial Inc since May 2008. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Prudential Financial Inc. since January 1, 2008 until December 1, 2018. Mr. Strangfeld serves as Chairman and Chief Executive officer of Prudential Equity Group LLC, Asset Management Arm. Mr. Strangfeld served as Executive Vice President of Prudential Financial from February 2001 to August 2002. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Investment Management and Prudential Insurance from February, 2001 until April 2002. He also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Prudential Securities in October 2000. He has been with Prudential since July 1977, serving in various management positions, including the executive in charge of Prudential’s Global Asset Management Group since 1996, Senior Managing Director of The Private Asset Management Group from 1995 to 1996 and Chairman at PRICOA Capital Group (London) Europe from 1989 to 1995. Prior to his current position, Mr. Strangfeld held a variety of senior investment positions at Prudential Financial, both within the United States and abroad, including six years in London. He serves as Director at Prudential Investment Management, Inc. (PIM). He was elected as the Vice Chairman of the investments division of Prudential Financial Inc. in August 2002. He also serves as Director of American Council Of Life Insurers. He is member of the Board of Managers of Wachovia and Prudential Financial Advisors LLC. Mr. Strangfeld is Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Susquehanna University and is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Darden Foundation, University of Virginia. He serves as a Director of New Jersey Performing Arts Center Corporation. He is also a member of the Raven Society, the oldest and most prestigious honorary society at the University of Virginia. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Mr. Strangfeld received a B.S. in Business Administration from Susquehanna University and an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
