The Office of Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) seeks a Legislative Correspondent (LC) with exceptional writing, communications and organizational skills. The LC will be responsible for organizing, researching, drafting, processing and responding to constituent correspondence in the housing, labor, human services, social security, animals, consumer product safety, federal employees, and postal service policy portfolios. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and detail-oriented self starter, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: responding to constituent mail; assisting Legislative Assistants; researching policy issues; and other duties as assigned. Previous Capitol Hill experience, proficiency in IQ, and a public policy background are strongly preferred.

He has a BA and MA in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago.
Legislative Director: Roscoe Jones (firstname.lastname@example.org) has been Legislative Director to US Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) since April 2017. He was previously Senior Counsel to Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ). He has also served as an Assistant US Attorney in the Western District of Washington, a Special Assistant US Attorney in the District of Columbia, a Special Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General and an Appellate Attorney for the US Department of Justice Civil Rights Division.
