The Office of Congressman Ron DeSantis (R-FL-06) seeks a Washington, D.C. office Staff Assistant. The individual must be organized and detail-oriented. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phones; welcoming constituents; greeting meeting attendees; managing the general office email account, voicemail system and the conference room reservation system; coordinating tour and flag requests; assisting with the processing of incoming and outgoing correspondence; assisting with management of the legislative archives; and assisting the legislative team by attending briefings, writing memos and conducting research. The candidate will work closely with the Member and Chief of Staff as well as other D.C. and District Staff. Florida ties are a plus. We are looking for someone who can maintain a good sense of humor and maintain flexibility with the day to day responsibilities of congressional work.
