The Office of Rep. Tony Cardenas (D-CA) seeks a Scheduler to handle his DC and California calendar. Position includes maintaining the Member’s daily and long-term schedules, processing all incoming invitations and meeting requests, coordinating travel arrangements and other duties as assigned. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, organized, experienced working in a fast-paced office, able to maintain a professional and cheerful demeanor while managing multiple and competing tasks and projects, and demonstrate the professionalism and discretion necessary for a job that requires a high level of trust and confidentiality. Access to a vehicle is a plus, but not required. No phone calls or walk-ins please. This is not an entry level position. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

He became Legislative Director in January 2013, Deputy Chief of Staff/Legislative Director in April 2014, and Chief of Staff in January 2017. Legislative Director: Jacqueline Usyk (email@example.com) joined Rep. Cardenas’ staff as a Legislative Assistant in October 2013. She was promoted to Senior Policy Adviser in January 2016 and Legislative Director in January 2017. She was previously a Legislative Aide to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). She has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and a Master’s in biomedical sciences from Barry University.
Scheduler/Office Manager: Mark Foley (firstname.lastname@example.org) joined Rep. Cardenas’ staff as an Intern in January 2015. He returned as a Scheduler in April 2016 and was promoted to Scheduler/Office Manager in January 2017. He has a Bachelor’s in Political Science from George Washington University.
